Quilly Millz "HSH V" review

I was scrolling down the Datpiff mobile app just saw Millz and assumed it was Meek. This was a nice surprise because Quilly goes hard just like Meek. Wonder why I never heard of him before because he is an accomplished artist with "I'm Rapped Out" mixtapes reaching 50k downloads. No wonder he has reached his success with tracks like Track 10- "We Are Young"

Although his rap style may be pretty standard and customary with the New York style of rap, its OK because he goes ham on every track. Even on the one where he samples Fun.'s "We Are Young" he knows how to make it happen.

I do have to note that with 21 tracks I did get extremely bored at the end. Not the artist fault its just I listen to about 5 mixtapes a day and unless someone is a rap icon and extremely talented I lose interest really fast. It was OK because I was playing Angry Birds Space and was getting 3 stars on every level. Even the bonus and hidden levels I was snapping to the sounds of Quilly Millz.

At first I thought it was kinda cheesy to have Millz be part of his name because alot of artist think that coping other greats will lead them to fame but really its just ultimately lame. As I continued to listen and did a little bit of research I saw that Quilly has been doing his thang for a whiles now and he doesn't sound anything like Meek so whatever. Also I found out the title of his mixtape is a part of his Haines Street Hustler series and this is volume 5.

You can download this mixtape at the link below. Also I do this for free and I'm a Halsted Street Hustler. CHI-TOWN CAT! So why not help out my grind by donating $1 to my Paypal. Thank you for visiting Great Frank's Place.
