Kris Clarke's "You Can Call Me Kris" review

Hey it's a debut piece work and has it's kinks that need worked out. Not horrible by any street of the imagine nor will it ever be considered a masterpiece. A starting artist Kris Clarke has all the baiscs down and now he has to keep flying off the ground and find his sound. Like in Track 7- "Poison" the beat surprised you with a random necessary rock sound that botched the track.

Kris hit me up through twitter and I have no problem with reviewing anybodys mixtape. Nobody starts out running, it takes time and is a building process. Some of the things I would adjust is how your voice sounds like your a creeper with a  audible whisper who is giving candy to some kid who look like he knows about stranger danger. Don't try so hard to sound smooth just let the swag take care of you. Be more present with your voice.

Another thing is everything sounded engineered nicely except for Track 3- "What Is Love" there was a random annoying popping sound that didn't flow with the beat. This is why I listen to the mixtape in my car because I have an eight speaker system that is clear and allows me to find little tidbits that can lose listeners.Overall all the beats sounded very nice but I can't say the same about the lyrics, but lyrical skill is something that takes along time to attain so just keep going and shit will start flowin.

You can download this mixtape at the link below. Also I do provide this as a free service to ANY artist who wants their mixtape review so please donate $1 if you appreciate what I do. Thank you for visiting Great Franks Place.
