Chance The Rapper's "Acid Rap" review

CHICAGO STAND UP FOR YA BOI!!! Represent for a hometown cat even though this is kinda old. I heard this way before I was even thinking of a blog. Its an instant classic and deserves to be written about, at least by me. Chance is sure to be the next Chitown Cat to thrive in rap with his unique raspy voice and uptempo jazz insturmentals. Track 4- "Juice", is just one of many that will have you swaggin.

My lil brother put me onto this when I was still working and selling furniture. It was a great release because they was working me like a slave, good thing I got fired because I was depressed and eventually woulda ended up in a grave. He put this on one day after a rough week and I immediately let all that behind me and began to think of another way to eat.

What separates him from your regular Chicago style rapper is that he is much more creative with his loop beats whereas Sosa or Ballot or Swagg Dinero or P Rico or Lil Jay or Lil Mister or any of dem Chiraq Cat beats all kinda sound the same but their vocals is what separates them from the crowd. Chance has more of a jazz vibes with rock and roll sound and old fashioned Chicago style blues in the mix. THIS IS THE SHIT!!!

You can download this mixtape at the link below. Also I do this for free but all of us in the Chi know high gas can be. We have the highest prices in the nation so please help me out a lil by donation $1 to my Paypal. Thank you for visiting Great Frank's Place.
