PHILLY STAND UP!!! Support ya boi Charlie Mic because he has potential to be pretty damn nice. This isn't Charlie Day from Always Sunny, so listen to what he say because this is nothing funny. With his responsibly positive message and high sounding vocals its impossible not to listen clearly what he is spittin. Track 2- "The Darkness" he really sheds the light as we all try to fight.
I'm not going to front there are some minor flaws that is easily fixable. Like on Track 7- "Visons" the vocals sound distorted. Also I feel that you sound much better when you slow down your tempo on the rhymes. You have the levels on your vocals turned up high so your voice dominates the instrumental and there is nothing wrong with that. Some artist sound good rapping fast and others sound better when they take their time and let the beat carry their rhymes.
You do have a very nice flow. I like that you spit positive messages because there is too much negativity in the world. That is what drives most of the mainstream media but I do feel that there is a new generation a upcoming artist who only want to focus on the things that make us smile. I accredit this to Lil B but many people don't agree with me.
Overall for a first project this is very good. You have reached over 3500 downloads and that is extremely impressive because most starting artist don't reach 100. Numbers don't lie and your probably a very good self promoter and that is very important when trying to reach success. This is a tough business and if you don't market yourself properly then you can be the best rapper but nobody will know your name. Just keep going and your sure to reach some fame.
You can download this mixtape at the link below. Also I do provide this as a free service to any artist who want's their mixtape reviewed. Please send me a $1 donation if you appreciate what I do. Thank you for visiting Great Franks Place.
